The Prevention Network (TPN) and Poison Free recently initiated the development and implementation of the Morado Dwellings Garden project in Beaver Falls, PA. We are inviting the community to participate in healthier lifestyles.

The Prevention Network and Poison Free are pleased to announce installation of The Growing Roots Community Garden at Morado Dwellings in Beaver Falls. Ground allocated by The Housing Authority of the County of Beaver was broken on Saturday, May 2, at 1:00 pm. Residents of Morado Dwellings participated in growing over 20 varieties of vegetable crops for themselves in Bio-Dynamic raised beds. No chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides will be used. The garden is to serve as a prototype for future community gardens that TPN and Poison Free plan to develop in Beaver County.
